Dylan's 544 Entry 1: Replacing the gas tank

The 544 continued to clog fuel filters, so I decided I would replace the fuel tank.

    Dylan what is the type of fuel for these old volvos leaded or unleaded ?

    I run regular unleaded in my 544. Really, the only thing needed to be done to run unleaded fuel in these old cars is make sure the valve seats in the head are replaced with hardened seats.

    If that hasn't been done to the car, there are "lead additives" you can buy at autoparts stores without too much trouble.
